What we collect. Your name, email, avatar, Contracts, Favors, check-ins, proof photos, dispute notes, points, and Reliability Score, and the contacts you add to your Network. When you invite someone who hasn’t joined, we keep the name and email you gave us so the invite can reach them. If you send a report, we keep it and what it’s about. If the app crashes, we collect a crash report (device model, OS version, and what the app was doing) to fix the problem. It isn’t used for advertising or tracking.
How we use it. To run the core app experience — showing your Contracts, notifying you in the app when partners propose, confirm, or dispute one, and calculating your Reliability Score and Rankings.
What we share. Your name, avatar, and Reliability Score are public: they’re visible in Rankings and to anyone you have a contract with. That’s what the score is for. Reports are private; the person you report isn’t told who sent it. We do not sell your data.
Who helps us run Pinky. We use a few service providers: Supabase (database, storage, and sign-in), Resend (email), and Sentry (crash reports). They handle your data only to provide these services to us, and are required to protect it.
Your choices. You can edit your profile, remove or block Network contacts, and delete your account at any time from Profile Settings.
How long we keep it. When you delete your account, we delete your profile, your photos and any contracts still in progress. Settled contracts stay in the other person’s history under your first name, marked as a deleted account. If one of your photos is part of an open report, we keep it until 90 days after the report closes or your account is deleted, whichever is later, then delete it. We also keep any report you sent or were named in, to protect other users.
Beta waitlist. If you join the waitlist on usepinky.app, we keep your email address and the date you signed up, and use them only to tell you when the beta opens. We don’t add you to marketing lists or share your address with anyone. We delete it once the beta is open to you, or sooner if you ask at [email protected].
Children. Pinky isn’t for anyone under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information. If you think a child has an account, write to [email protected] and we’ll delete it.
Contact. Questions about this policy can be sent to [email protected].
